Push, pull, and slide the scenes to bring the classic story of The Jungle Book to life.
Meet Mowgli the man-cub, he’s wild as wild can be! First Stories: The Jungle Book is a perfect introduction to this classic tale. Push, pull, and turn mechanisms bring the story to life and introduce all the main characters: Mowgli, Baloo, Shere Khan, and Father Wolf. This well-loved fairytale is beautifully imagined for a new generation by illustrator Miriam Bos.
Such a fun interactive book with the sliding and movement features. This book does a great job sharing an overview of the classic Jungle Book story, though it doesn’t go into the first story. The illustrations are fun and I loved that the text was in rhyme.
My name is Miriam Bos. I am an illustrator and pattern designer from the Netherlands who loves creating art that brings a smile to your face. I started out as an illustrator of children’s books & magazines. In 2012, I jumped into pattern design and put my heart into developing new illustrations and surface designs for a whole different market. I am now a fabric designer with Birch Fabrics and have two fabric collections on my name. I’m also an illustrator of children’s books and have licensed my work to several companies & industries worldwide. I specialize in both traditional and digital techniques and like to mix them up which gives my artwork a distinct & quirky style. Whimsical girls, lush flowers, and sweet birds are just a few of the things I can’t stop drawing.(Bio via http://miriambos.com)View Author
