“Hey, Coach! Guess what? I m on your team.” GOAL! This sprightly rhyming picture book captures all the fun and energy of very young children having a blast on the soccer field. Over the course of their first season, the players progress from unsure newcomers to enthusiastic good sports who love the game and even score! The humor and the real-kid voices will have readers rooting for this spirited and determined team.”
This would be a FANTASTIC book to gift a coach, especially of tiny little players! It’s all about hard work, not giving up, and all of the little bumps you have along the way to learning how to really play a sport.
This book made me laugh at all of the cute things a coach must deal with when managing a team of young players. This would make for a great book to gift to the ever-patient coach of kids just learning to play the game.
