Annie Cronin Romano is a speech-language therapist and blogger. She graduated from Boston College with a degree in English, then went on to earn her teaching certification in high school English and a master’s degree in communication disorders. She contributes to the groupblog “24 Carrot Writing,” which focuses on writing strategies and maintaining motivation for writers. Ileana Soon, debut picture book illustrator, has a degree in illustration and entertainment arts from the Art Center College of Design in California. Her editorial art clients include <i>Wall Street Journal</i>, <i>New York Times</i>, <i>Boston Globe</i>, and <i>Scientific American</i>. She has also won multiple awards from American Illustration, Communication Arts, the World Illustration Awards and the Society of Illustrators West. Having grown up in a small seaside town in Borneo, Malaysia, she now lives and works in Los Angeles.
