Frog and Toad are always there for each other—just as best friends should be!
From sledding in winter to eating ice cream on hot summer days, these two friends have fun together the whole year round! This collection includes the complete art and text from three classics in a paperback slipcase: Caldecott Honor title Frog and Toad Are Friends, Newbery Honor title Frog and Toad Together, and Frog and Toad All Year.
This reading collection is a Level Two I Can Read, geared toward kids who read on their own but still need a little help.
Frog and Toad are two funny little friends. I think it is fun to read about their adventures and how they communicate with each other. For instance, when Toad sleeps all winter and Frog wants to play, Frog tricks Toad that it is May when it is actually still April.
This was the first book I checked out from the school library when I was in kindergarten, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Beyond that, it is simple and sweet, and a perfect book for early readers. I remember feeling so accomplished and independent because I had my own book that I could read myself with different stories or chapters in it. Now I look forward to sharing this book with my pre-schooler and letting her experience the magic of independent reading for herself!
