This series is one of the better in the beginning reader category. Almost half of each book is full of illustrations, and there is magic and adventure in the easier text. I especially like that these books aren’t scary and don’t portray bad behavior. I really like that the main character is a boy (a prince) and that his best friend is a girl. It’s a great book for any boy or girl. The books are easy to get through and will build a reader’s confidence as they work their way through the series. :)
Jordan Quinn grew up in a fairy tale castle in England. It had a spiral stone staircase, a moat, and a dungeon. As a child she liked to play hide-and-go-seek and ride her beloved horse, Prince Charming. When she wasn’t riding, she wrote stories about fairies, trolls, dragons, and wizards. Today Jordan lives on a ranch in California with her husband, son, and a golden retriever named Sir Toots-a-Lot.
