Mr. Fish finds the courage to speak up for his friends when a shark comes to the park and bullies them.
This is a great book about the power of words to conquer bullying and does a great job of showing the inner dilemmas and negative emotions that bullying creates in its victims, while still being kid-friendly and upbeat. The rhyming and repetition of the “chorus” of the book became surprising powerful the more times it was repeated, particularly combined with the power dynamic between a shark and a fish that even little readers understand.
