Bringing books to a baby shower can be a tricky task, wanting to give fabulous books but bring something unique enough that other guests won't think to give, or that the expecting mom doesn't already have. A mom only wants so many copies of "Good Night Moon," am I right? This list is meant to be the perfect guide to help you pick out the best gift that will be cherished in baby's library for years to come. Whether you're wanting something gender neutral or more specific, this list has a great variety for you to choose from. We love the idea of bringing a children's book as a gift. Whether the shower invite card specifies it's a "bring a book" type of shower instead of other gifts or not, my personal favorite shower gift is to pick from one of these hidden gems on the list paired with a gift card to a Bookroo subscription, so they can keep getting great books to build their library once their little joins the family. I just send them a gift subscription from www.bookroo.com and print out one of these gift cards to take, too (https://bookroo.com/gift-card)! This list has both board and picture books on it. Board books are more durable, made out of cardboard, and are easier for little hands to turn pages with. We recommend those for around ages 0-3. If you're hoping to bring a book specifically for babies under one or babies 6-12 months, try toggling the list for board books to filter for those. While picture books are normally geared for around ages 2-6, they are truly great for any age, and would also make a great first book for baby. Filter for picture books if you're hoping for that classic-sized children's book that will be enjoyed as baby grows up. All that being said, if you see something you like but not in the format you want, try clicking the "buy" button to see if they have it in the format you're wanting. Have fun picking the perfect title--and no stress, because each of these picks is worth giving! From heartwarming to funny, educational to artistic, each of these would make a perfect gift. Let us know if you have any favorite books you gift at showers!
