L. M. Montgomery’s delightful tale dances with the giddy wonder, boundless fancy, and brave resilience of childhood. Anne exemplifies the thrill of seeing beauty everywhere, the joy of turning mishaps into marvelous tales, the warmth of true friendship and family, and the magic of never quite letting go of wonder. Anne is a breath of fresh air! This charming tale makes you want to be as imaginative, friendly, and grateful as Anne, all while making you laugh and commiserate with the mishaps that occur.
Anne of Green Gables is such a fun tale! Her imagination is simply fascinating and so intriguing. It makes me want to learn all kinds of new words and enjoy fancy places. Of course, she creates many of these places through her thoughts and that was so fun to think that if life is ever boring we can make it brighter by thinking it so.
