Bugs Galore is a terrific addition to any bug loving child's library. Peter Stein will wow you with never ending rhymes about all kinds of bugs, while Bob Staake's recognizable illustration style brings it all to life (fortunately, not literally).
This is a fun book with cheery illustrations. The rhyming text is fun to read, and the detailed pictures on each page give us lots to talk about. This book is a fun read on its own, but would also be a great jumping-off point to learn more about insects.

Making books is one of my favorite things in the world, but not my ONLY favorite thing. I also love hanging out with my family and giant dog Theo, playing the guitar, running, and doing non book-related art projects. Bob Staake has written and/or illustrated more than fifty books, including The Red Lemon, a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Children’s Book of the Year. His work has graced the cover of The New Yorker more than a dozen times, and his November 17, 2008, Barack Obama victory cover was named the Best Magazine Cover of the Year by Time magazine. He lives on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts.
