Crunch the guinea pig loves his food, so it’s just as well there’s plenty of it, especially when a hungry little mouse wants a share. So why does Crunch refuse?Later, Crunch can’t settle to his feast for worrying about the mouse. Although he’s never stepped outside his hutch before, Crunch sets off to look for him. Will he find the little mouse, and if so, what else might he discover?
This is such a sweet book. And it has adorable illustrations! Gentle treatment of the themes of sharing and friendship, courage and forgiveness make this book so easy to read again and again. Who knows, little readers might just be willing to try eating some of the things Crunch loves to eat! At the very least, this book could spark a conversation about yumminess...and how important it is to share,
