“Happily ever after” is just the beginning as comedian-actor-author Richard Ayoade and award-winning illustrator David Roberts present a second round of fan letters to iconic fairy tale characters–and their wry responses. What if you could send your fairy tale idols your burning questions? Thanks to a dedicated fan club secretary, many such queries have been asked and answered in this compendium, with surprising results. Have you ever wondered why Puss in Boots wears footwear on only two of his legs (and what the heck happened to his pants)? Do you think the Beast’s evolving relationship with Beauty qualifies him to give marriage advice? What is Aladdin’s opinion of the strategy–when faced with a genie–of simply wishing for . . . more genies? How might the Ogres 4 Ogres Improvement Foundation respond to a grumpy, spiky-haired eleven-year-old who sees being called an “ogre” as a compliment? Learn the uncensored opinions of Robin Hood, Goldilocks, the Pied Piper, Tom Thumb, and several more in this witty collection of missives concocted by Richard Ayoade, cleverly illustrated by David Roberts.
