Bo and Mo need to tidy their bedroom . . . and they are going to build a robot to help! This fun-filled flip-the-page book has more than 180 different robots to build: will your robot play soccer, cook your dinner, talk to you, or hop around on springs? And what happens when the wiring goes wrong?! This entertaining series introduces kindergartners to S.T.E.A.M concepts through storytelling and play, and fans of Playmobil, Lego and Duplo will love creating their very own robots again and again. Packed full of facts, plus plenty of hand-on interactive fun, Flip Flap Build: Rockets is perfect for supporting early S.T.E.A.M learning. Tips at the back of the book help parents and carers to support learning at home, and the bright, bold and stylish illustrations from bestselling illustrator Ben Newman (Stemville, Professor Astro Cat) are packed with incredible details. And if you like this book, why not check out Flip, Flap, Build: Rockets and build your way to an outer space adventure!
Ben Newman has developed a distinct style over the years; a contemporary fusion of bold shapes, bright colours and playful characters which has been described as ‘bauhaus fuzzy felt.’ He has produced work for a large range of clients, including the Tate Modern, New York Times, BBC Radio 4, Google and Volkswagon. As well as working as a freelance illustrator and art director, Newman also lectures on illustration/graphic arts at various universities and conferences in the UK and Europe. Ben lives in London and likes both cats and dogs equally.
