Annie Cronin Romano is a speech-language therapist and blogger. She graduated from Boston College with a degree in English, then went on to earn her teaching certification in high school English and a master’s degree in communication disorders. She contributes to the groupblog “24 Carrot Writing,” which focuses on writing strategies and maintaining motivation for writers. She lives in Massachusetts andis an active member of SCBWI and The Writer’s Loft. Her first book, Before You Sleep, will be published by Page Street Kids in fall 2018.
Ileana Soon, debut picture book illustrator, has a degree in illustration and entertainment arts from the Art Center College of Design in California. Her editorial art clients include Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Boston Globe, and Scientific American. She has also won multiple awards from American Illustration, Communication Arts, the World Illustration Awards and the Society of Illustrators West. Having grown up in a small seaside town in Borneo, Malaysia, she now lives and works in Los Angeles.
