I like to be just like Mommy. When I go to drink her coffee, she says, Oh My, Oh No! Coffee is yucky! And when I surprise her with a cake, she says, Oh My, Oh No! There’s flour all over the kitchen! The perspective of a little girl cleverly points out some of the idiosyncrocies with parents' behavior from a littler point a view. While I didn't love the way the mother is portrayed, but maybe that's just because it cuts a little close to home. The illustrations are beautiful.
