Megan McDonald is the author of the popular Judy Moody and Stink series for older readers, as well as many other books for children. Megan McDonald lives in California.
Denise Lewis Patrick has written more than twenty books for children. Before writing full-time, she worked in publishing as a staff writer and editor. Denise has been telling stories since she was eight years old. She remembers, as a child, binding her hand-written manuscripts with a needle and thread to create her very own books.
Renee Graef received her bachelor’s degree in art from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She is the illustrator of numerous titles in the Little House publishing program, as well as Rodgers and Hammerstein’s My Favorite Things and E.T.A Hoffman’s The Nutcracker, adapted by Janet Schulman. She lives in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, with her husband and two children.
Laura Freeman received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and began her career illustrating for various editorial clients. Laura has illustrated many fine children’s books over the years, including Fancy Party Gowns: The Story of Fashion Designer Ann Cole Lowe, written by Deborah Blumenthal, and the Coretta Scott King Honor book Hidden Figures: The True Story of Four Black Women and the Space Race, by Margot Lee Shetterly.
