The Creatives Behind the Books
Kate Hargreaves (aka Pain Eyre) is a writer, book designer and roller-derby skater. She is the author of Talking Derby: Stories from a Life on Eight Wheels and Leak, a collection of poems. She lives in Windsor, Ontario, and helped found the city’s roller-derby league, the Border City Brawlers. When she’s not working or skating, Kate spends her time cycling with her husband and cuddling with Winn the cat.
Michele Martin Bossley is the author of numerous books for young people, including Jumper and Kicker in the Orca Sports series. A frequent speaker at writing conferences and schools, Michele divides her time between writing and parenting her four sons. She lives in Calgary.
M.J. McIsaac is the author of several books for young people, including Underhand in the Orca Sports series. She has a master’s degree in writing for children from the University of Winchester in the UK. M.J. currently lives with her family in Whitby, Ontario.
