Maris Wicks lives in sunny Somerville, Massachusetts. She is the author behind Human Body Theater, as well as the illustrator of New York Times Bestselling Primates, with Jim Ottaviani. Wicks has also created comics for Spongebob Comics, DC and Marvel. When Maris is not drawing comics, she can be found prepping slides for her collection of vintage microscopes.

Alison Wilgus is a Brooklyn-based bestselling writer, editor and cartoonist who’s been working in comics for over a decade. She is the author of the SF graphic novel duology Chronin (Tor Books), which NPR called “timeless in more ways than one,” and Book Riot called “magical,” and which has garnered a host of glowing reviews. Her middle grade graphic novel Science Comics: Flying Machines was named one of the National Science Teachers Association’s Best STEM Books for 2018. Her New York Times bestselling work has been published by DC Comics, Dark Horse, Del Rey, and Scholastic, and she served as a script and story writer for Cartoon Network’s “Codename: Kids Next Door.” In her spare time, she co-hosts a podcast about comics publishing called “Graphic Novel TK” with Gina Gagliano.

Tory Woollcott is a cartoonist, writer, and literacy educator and advocate who lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband and her minor Internet celebrity dog, Reginald Barkley. Her first graphic novel, Mirror Mind, was an autobiographical memoir about growing up with dyslexia. She has since written and drawn other autobiographical comics, fairy tales for kids, and a sci-fi audio drama.

Molly Brooks is a highly-sophisticated disaster machine fueled by green tea and jelly beans. She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and is currently based in Brooklyn. She has a BFA in Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis, and an MFA in Illustration as Visual Essay from the School of Visual Arts. Her illustrations have appeared in The Village Voice, Time Out New York, The Nashville Scene, The Riverfront Times, The Toast, BUST Magazine, ESPN social, Sports Illustrated online, and others. She spends her spare time watching vintage buddy cop shows and making comics about knitting, hockey, and/or feelings.

Alex Graudins is a cartoonist and illustrator currently living inRhode Island. She is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts’ cartooning class of 2016. Science Comics: The Brain is her first book.

Zack Giallongo is a professional cartoonist, cheese enthusiast, and amateur banjo-ist. His first solo graphic novel, Broxo, is about teenage barbarians and was published in 2012. It hit #4 on the New York Times Bestsellers list.
