The Creatives Behind the Book
Maria Gianferrari is a picture book reading/writing, tea-drinking, dog-loving, birdwatching resident of Virginia and author of the Penny & Jelly books, Coyote Moon, Officer Katz and Houndini and Hello Goodbye Dog. Her newest titles are Terrific Tongues, Hawk Rising and Operation Rescue Dog. Additional titles forthcoming in 2020 include Whooo-Ku (GP Putnam’s Sons) and Play Like An Animal (Millbrook Press).
Jonathan D. Voss was a portrait artist and graphic designer before becoming a children’s book illustrator.
