Ann Bausum

Biography

Having grown up watching it unfold in the American South in the 1960s and ‘70s, Ann Bausum writes about history, often about the history of social justice in the US. Her books for children and teens have received a Sibert Honor, the Jane Addams Children’s Book Award, and the Carter G. Woodson Award, among other recognitions. She lives in southern Wisconsin.
