Biography

As a National Geographic nature writer, memoirist, and novelist, it is such a pleasure to now also publish children’s books with such master illustrators as Wendell Minor and Ed Young. Creating books for kids gives me so much hope for the future and lets me leapfrog ahead of these turbulent times to help all our next generations—human and animals.
