Lisa Cohen

Biography

Lisa Cohen’s work has appeared on magazine and book covers, cards, posters, and children’s books–among them DANCING THE RING SHOUT (Hyperion, 2003) and LITTLE STEVIE WONDER(Houghton Mifflin 2005). Born in Cape Town, South Africa, she moved to the United States in the early 1980s, eager to embrace the freedom of expression available to her here. Ms. Cohen resides and paints in New Orleans.
