Biography

MARIKA MAIJALA lives in Helsinki, Finland, illustrating children’s books. Her work has been published in ten countries. She received a Beautiful Book Prize in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2015, and the Rudolf Koivu Award for Best Finnish Children’s Book Illustration in 2009.
