Where did you originally get the idea for A is for Alliguitar?
Standing on the village pier, I was thinking about my youth orchestra reunion I was about to go to when someone yelled, “Look, there’s an alligator!” My wires crossed, and Alliguitar popped into my head. I had been wanting to write a different sort of alphabet book, and that was an A. I decided to keep going through the alphabet.
