John Schindel has turned his love of writing for kids and working with quality animal photographers into the Busy Book series, including Busy Penguins, Busy Bear Cubs, and Busy Kitties. He lives with his two daughters in Oakland, California, and by day works in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley.
