Chester: The Last Fire Horse

There’s a story set at the end of the ‘horse’ age when motorised transport was becoming common. It’s is a tale about loyalty and friendship between Danny, an aging horse trainer, and Chester his favourite of all the Fire-horses he has ever trained, and how they cope with being forced to accept the many changes to their lives, changes they neither want nor understand.
