Cowboy Small takes good care of his horse, rides the range, helps in the roundup, and rides a bucking bronco, in a board-book adaptation of a long-time children’s favorite.
This is an oldie but a goodie! One of my aunts gifted my first son this book when he was born (apparently it’s one my dad read as a little boy!) so it has a special place in my heart for that reason. Content-wise, it’s pretty straightforward and reads board book introduction to what a cowboy does day-to-day. Read it with a cowboy accent for a little extra pizazz!
