I was super excited to read this book because I LOVE celebrating Friendsgiving, and I hoped this would be a new addition to our Thanksgiving cannon. The illustrations are fun and unique (pictures of handmade sets) but aggh! I'm not sure whether this book was trying to be a rhyming book or not, but sometimes it would and sometimes it wouldn't and the cadence was all over the place and it made it so hard to read outloud. The book features lots of fall traditions (a gratitude tree, apple picking, farmer's markets, homemade donuts, leaf raking and jumping, etc.) but there's not a lot of story going on (which is fine, I'm just saying.)
