Hatch

This is such a cute lift-the-flap book and definitely a favorite of my toddler's, so much so that it made the two books cut for the airplane bag. I'm not personally convinced that the top of the book needed to be a circle, particularly since it makes the spine a little weaker, but this book has been dragged all around our house and is no worse for the wear (plus, my son is obsessed with circles... so it gets bonus points from him there.) The rhyming is cute, and the content is simple yet informative, and it's a unique take on eggs!

This is a very cute lift-the-flap with a nice rhyme scheme! I love that it focuses on baby animals that are hatching, and you get a little clue in the text to help you guess what animal you will uncover next. Plus, the illustrations are cute and I like how colorful the book is.
