From bestselling author Christopher Franceschelli comes Hello, New York! and Hello, Paris!, board books about the most visited cities in the world. Each book opens with a simple map that puts all of the city sites in context before taking readers on a journey of the landmarks in each city. Playful die-cuts peek into windows and under bridges on each spread, culminating in an iconic gatefold at the end.
Very fun overview highlighting some favorite gems of Paris (though if you're not familiar with popular roads, rivers, etc., you may have a hard time pronouncing some of the French words). The illustrations are cute, but the die-cuts, pop-out map, and unfolding tabs unveiling the Eiffel Tower make this book extra fun!
My pre-schooler and I like to read this book and remember details about our time living in Paris, and it would be a great way for kids to prepare for or remember a trip. Even if your little ones aren't backpacking through Europe any time soon, this cute, informative, approachable book is a great way to introduce them to geography and major cities of the world.
