It’s the little series that goes—and goes and goes and goes, now selling over 900,000 copies a year. Built for the way babies read, Indestructibles engage all their senses during storytime—even their desire to munch! Now from Ekaterina Trukhan, a Russian artist who is new to the series and brings the gift of instantly appealing color and brightness, comes a new basic concept book just right for babies: Baby, Let’s Count! presents number basics with the help of friendly animals: Count seven little birdies singing in a tree, eight little piggies snacking, and more. Printed on lightweight, non-toxic paperlike material, Indestructibles are rip-proof, chew-proof, gum-proof, and drool-proof, 100% nontoxic and easy to clean—or throw in the dishwasher.
Ekaterina Trukhan is a Russian illustrator. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts and has since illustrated children’s books. She draws her inspiration from everyday life, mid-century illustration and the books she had when she was a child. In her spare time, Ekaterina enjoys longs walks with her husband and their dog.
Amy Pixton, a mother of triplets, created Indestructibles after bits of traditional board books found their way into her babies’ mouths. Amy lives in Kansas City with her husband and their three children.
