Kaaren Pixton has been making art with children for many years. Kaaren’s studio is at her home in West Linn, Oregon, where she lives with her husband, one dog, five chickens, goldfish in a pond, and countless grandchildren romping in the gardens.
Amy Pixton, a mother of triplets, created Indestructibles after bits of traditional board books found their way into her babies’ mouths. Amy lives in Kansas City with her husband and their three children.
Jonas Sickler’s illustrations have appeared in numerous children’s publications, including Cricket and Cicada magazines, as well as The Land of Nodcatalog. He lives in Syracuse, New York, with his wife and two boys.
Stephan Lomp has been writing and illustrating books with publishers in Germany, the UK, France, Spain, and the United States since 1996. He lives with his family in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Ekaterina Trukhan is a Russian illustrator. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts and has since illustrated children’s books. She draws her inspiration from everyday life, mid-century illustration and the books she had when she was a child. In her spare time, Ekaterina enjoys longs walks with her husband and their dog.
Carolina Búzio is from Porto, Portugal, where she studied Communication Design. She spent one year studying animation in Budapest, and it was there in Hungary that she published her first illustrated book and discovered her passion for illustration. She is now based in the wonderfully weird city of Berlin, working with clients from all over the world while munching away on all the cinnamon sprinkled food she can find.
