Inside Charlotte Sullivan Wild was the idea of stories, long before she could write. So she told tales to her kindergarten teacher at the typewriter. Soon she read and wrote herself. So many stories (so many cross-outs). After years of teaching stories, and asking authors about their stories on the radio, and even selling stories in a bookstore–AT LAST, one of her ideas grew into this very book in your hands. Charlene Chua grew up in Singapore, where she divided her time between drawing, reading comics and failing her Mandarin classes.
