This has the elements of a classic Christmas story—a quest for Santa, who comes through—but it fell remarkably flat for me, despite the warm fuzzies that accompany all things Christmas. The story seemed like it was trying too hard to be deep in the vein of the Polar Express, but didn't have enough substance to get there.
