In order from Katie and the Cupcake Cure to Mia's Sweet Surprises.
Friendship-centered chapter books about middle-school girls who build a cupcake club while handling school, family changes, and the pressure to fit in. Graphic retellings and a younger New Batch spin-off offer two additional ways into the series.

Read the 34 original chapter books in numbered publication order. Many school and friendship problems are resolved within one book, but the girls' relationships and Cupcake Club develop across the series.
The eight graphic novels retell the opening prose stories in full color; they are alternatives to those books, not adventures #35–42. The eight New Batch books follow a younger, different group of friends and restart at book #1, so children may begin that spin-off separately.

The tension is social and emotional rather than dangerous. Stories address exclusion, bullying, changing friendships, crushes, school worries, fitting in, and occasional family stress, with supportive friendships and practical problem-solving at the center.
The original series is aimed at middle-grade readers, while New Batch uses shorter, more heavily illustrated stories for younger readers. The graphic line covers the same plots as the early originals and can be chosen by format preference.
Choose the line that best matches the child's reading level and preferred format.
