I am the author of a new middle grade series for children ages 7 - 10 called The Adventures of Henry Whiskers. Books one and two were released in 2017, and book number three is rattling around in my brain right this minute. I am the youngest of eight – a yours, mine and ours. Guess which one I am. Yup! Ours! The only ours, by the way, which makes all of them mine!!! I am married and have three grown children, a tabby cat named Tigger and a golden retriever named Clover. I’ve lived in the same town most of my life, but have been lucky enough to travel and to spend a few years living in England. We lived right near Windsor Castle, where the Queen of England lives and Henry Whiskers too. (Shh! The Queen doesn’t know.) Some Other Fun Facts! I love the sun, soft sand and salt water; long walks, bike riding, swimming and skiing, the smell of star gazer lilies and cut grass, the sound of crickets and ocean surf and, when I’m home alone, I like to eat popcorn for dinner (no butter!). Being the youngest in my family is the best education of all. Some of my favorite childhood books are: My Father’s Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett Wainscott Weasel by Tor Seidler A Rat’s Tale by Tor Seidler Cricket in Time Square by George Selden Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White I believe that where there’s a will, there’s a way. Believe! I’ve had lots of wishes come true.
