An enthusiastic and devoted drawer since she was a child, Leslie Evans was raised in Michigan and later trained as a printmaker at Rhode Island School of Design. She has illustrated many books including Leaf Jumpers, The Yummy Alphabet Book, and the Alphabet Acrostic series (Clarion). Leslie lives in Watertown, Massachusetts, where she delights in her daily walks along the Charles River with her dog, Clyde.
Rob Bolster is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Bolster has worked in illustration for more than 20 years. For most of that time, his work has appeared in newspaper and magazine advertisements for major corporations. He produced most of those illustrations using airbrush and watercolor. However, in recent years Bolster has taught himself how to do his work using a computer. Much of his illustration is now created digitally. Rob lives in Walpole, Massachusetts.
Tom Leonard has been an illustrator and teacher at the University of the Arts for many years. He’s illustrated many books for children, including The Sea Mammal Alphabet Book and Who Will Plant a Tree. He both wrote and illustrated Becoming Bach. Shennen Bersani, mother of four, spent her childhood swimming, sailing, and seashell collecting. She attended the Art Institute of Boston and has been a freelance illustrator for over 15 years. She lives near Boston, Massachusetts.
