Clare Helen Welsh is a children’s book author who lives in Devon, in the UK, with her husband and two children. In 2013 Clare won the The Margaret Carey Scholarship for Picture book Writers and in 2014 she received the silver medal at The Greenhouse Funny Prize for her debut picture book Aerodynamics of Biscuits. She teaches primary school and has over ten year’s experience in Early Years and Key Stage One education.
Elizabeth Dale always dreamed of being a writer, but somehow got sidetracked into studying for a physics degree. When her children were born, she returned to her dream and found she loved writing children’s books more than anything. She loves traveling and seeking inspiration for her stories. Having seen what a wonderful life she leads, two of her daughters have grown up to be children’s authors, too. Elizabeth Dale lives in West Sussex, England.
Heather Pindar has more than twenty years’ experience as a teacher; she currently works in a school in London. She finds that the children’s brilliant imaginations and love of stories are her biggest inspiration for writing picture books.
Serena Lombardo was born in Naples, Italy, in 1990. She graduated in Fine Arts and later studied Concept Art and Character Design. As a child, she dreamed of being a valiant knight, and found her true Excalibur in a pencil. Drawing fantastic and adventurous worlds has always been her passion, and making others dream by telling stories through illustrations her mission. She works now as a full-time illustrator for books and magazines in the United States, Great Britain, Belgium and Italy.
