Read the nine story books in publication order, from Invisible Emmie through Entirely Emmie. Each volume can stand alone, but recurring classmates and changing friendships are easier to follow in order.
You-Niquely You is an optional journal and activity companion, not a story installment. The Invisible Emmie and Positively Izzy collection simply packages the first two books together. Seriously, Celia? is scheduled for September 29, 2026 and is not included in the published count yet.

The conflicts are realistic rather than dangerous: exclusion, rumors, cliques, teasing, embarrassing moments, jealousy, changing best friendships, crushes, and anxiety about fitting in. Some characters behave unkindly before the story reveals more of their perspective.
Several books use alternating viewpoints and a mix of prose, comics, and drawings. That structure helps readers see how the same social situation can feel very different to two children, with generally hopeful resolutions built around empathy and honest communication.
