Jeet and his puppy Fudge love to read books and wish they could make more friends, who also like to read. Inspired by another Sikh boy practicing his seva (his selfless act of kindness) by donating books to people in need, Jeet and Fudge set out with their Mom and Dad to also give back to their community. Could it also bring some reading buddies their way, as well?Kids and adults alike will delight in this level 2 emerging reader, the second in a series about a young Sikh boy, his “yummy” sidekick puppy, and their adventures in volunteerism and play.Written in partnership with the North American Sikh Coalition. Part of the proceeds of Jeet and Fudge: The Loving Library will go to support the nonprofit Anaik’s Loving Library.This title is leveled using both the Lexile and Fountas & Pinnell reading level standards.
