Enjoying a quiet life of books and lovely views from his hilltop home, a pig is dismayed to encounter an excessively friendly duck who builds an elaborate home obscuring Pig’s window and who talks about his numerous athletic exploits. By the award-nominated co-creator of The Robot Zoo.
This is such a cute story about being patient and making new friends. I feel for the pig with his comfortable and predictable life who, all of a sudden, has a new neighbor and friend in the intrepid duck. Told through some tongue in cheek text and illustrations inspired by aspects of comic book format, this book is entertaining for children and adults alike.
