A nicely illustrated story of the history of Hanukkah! This book does a good job of summing up the story without being too long for younger readers. There's even a recipe at the end for Latkes and instructions for playing Dreidel. :)
This book tells the story of how Hanukkah began with the conquering of the Greeks by the Maccabees and the restoration of their temple at Jerusalem. The story and illustrations were fine, but didn't pull me in as much as some other tellings have.
