What inspired Helen to write this story?

The idea for this book came from a conversation with our youngest daughter, Bethan, who was around five at the time. She asked me if a mom who has a new baby can love them as much as her other children. I explained that parents always have enough love for each child, because you can never run out of love – and then I thought, now that’s a good title for a story! And that very evening I started work on it. It was fun thinking of all the things you can run out of... unlike love! One of the best ways to show your children that you love them is to spend time with them, and what better way to end the day than to snuggle up together with a story?
