Our thoughts

Featuring the beloved cast of characters from Doreen Cronin's Click Clack Moo, this is a fun Halloween addition to our library (but as with most of our Halloween books, won't earn a year round spot of glory!) My oldest LOVES Halloween though, so we're all about all the Halloween books :)

Our thoughts

We love this whole series at our house–fun rhymes, silly premise—so we're super excited to own the Halloween version!

Tiffany and Chandler:

What we were looking for: Some good finds at a charity book sale!

The Beast of Buckingham Palace
Our thoughts

We've heard a lot of good things about David Walliams (including that he's the next Roald Dahl—no small claim!), but we haven't read anything by him yet, so we wanted to try out one of his books. At over 400 pages it could seem an intimidating read, but line spacing and lots of illustrations make it less so.

There's Always Pooh and Me
Our thoughts

We recently moved and had to leave most of our books in storage. We weren’t sure we’d survive long without books, so we were thrilled to stumble upon a charity book sale, where among other treasures we found this delightful book of poetry by A.A. Milne.

Rebecca and Tayler:

What we were looking for: A book from our wishlist!

Brian Wildsmith's Animal Gallery

Our thoughts

The pictures are absolutely stunning—I'd even call some of them masterpieces. I'm a big fan of books that teach the fun names for a group of animals, and this one has a plethora of interesting ones to learn. Educational, fun, and downright beautiful.
