What's This Book About

Publisher Summary

Sharing A Teacher is the Greatest Gift is the perfect gesture to remind teachers of the difference they make in their student’s lives. What does your teacher mean to you? A compass that points the way, an umbrella in a windy storm, an encyclopedia of knowledge—a teacher can be all these things and more. This sweet picture book beautifully illustrates all the different things our teachers have taught us, the care they have given us, and how they’ve inspired us. It’s undeniable that a teacher is the greatest gift of all, and this book is a lovely way to express your thanks.

This reads very much like an extended, cheesily sweet card to a teacher—the perfect gift for a cherished teacher to express their import but likely not a picture book to be read over and over in a family setting.

This sweet book would be a great gift for an elementary school teacher--it even includes a space for kids to write a personalized note. The illustrations are cute and the sentiments are nice, if a little sappy. However, outside of that specific gift-giving context, I don't see it being a book you'd read over and over again at home.
