A chant-along companion to Monkey Truck features a heroic, fire-fighting elephant who bravely patrols the skies above the Savannah with her fire-hose nose, putting out fires and rescuing her fellow animals.
I didn't think much of this the first time I read it, but it's an absolute favorite with my toddler and his utter delight as he shouts "Elecopter" has bumped it in my estimation. It's easy to read on repeat, and the illustrations add a lot to the sparse story. I'm also a big fan of rhyming books, which this has going for it.
A helicopter/elephant hybrid that flies around the African Savanna putting out fires? I know, it's a little out there, but my preschooler can't get enough of this book. The illustrations are bright, unique, and fun, and we love the rhyming text. It's not too long, either, so it's perfect for the attention span of a toddler.
This book about a an elephant that's a rescue helicopter is so much fun. Elecopter will take you on her rescuing adventures and you'll love the beautiful illustrations you see! The bright colors in this book are gorgeous. I also think it's fun that one of the pictures has you turn the book to the side to read and see the picture.
