This is my favorite Halloween book to read with my kids! The illustrations are inventive and fun, and the story is lighthearted and engaging. It includes ghosts, a witch, a cat, and a haunted house, but it's not scary at all, which is perfect for my toddler and pre-schooler. We read it a lot in October, but we like it so much we read it all year round!
