This is a book I enjoy reading over and over again. It's a fun twist to the nursery rhyme that discusses the heavy machinery trucks that Old MacDonald has on his farm and the work they're doing to prepare for Mrs. MacDonald's upcoming leap! The illustrations are cute, but it's really the clever details in the story that makes this book enjoyable.

Super cute and original take on the classic Old MacDonald, jam packed with awesome trucks and other construction vehicles! Super fun to sing or just read out loud and adorable illustrations. I particularly enjoyed when the E-I-E-I-O transitioned throughout the book to different sounds and actions associated with each new truck (E-I-E-I-mow!) and the big reveal at the end of what Old MacDonald and all his helpers created.

The illustrations in this fun Old MacDonald book are so much fun! I love that this book puts a twist on the song we're all familiar with in a unique way. You'll get to sing about all of the vehicles on the farm. One of the best things about this song is that it's so easy for little ones to sing along with it!

Eda Kaban is currently based out of Oakland, California, but was born and raised in Turkey. Eda is a children’s book illustrator, including of Old MacDonald Had a Truck, which was nominated for the Missouri Building Block 2017 Picture Book Award. Her work has been featured in a variety of publications, and she has worked with many clients including Penguin, Random House, HarperCollins, Chronicle Books, Simon &amp;amp; Schuster, Boston Globe and the Wall Street Journal. Eda loves reading and drawing, and she searches for stories through love, laughter, and observing the people around her. When she is not drawing, she can be found climbing or biking with her husband.
