Lucy Cousins is the creator of the beloved Maisy series. She is also the author-illustrator of the widely acclaimed Yummy: Eight Favorite Fairy Tales, a New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Children’s Book of the Year, as well as I’m the Best, Hooray for Fish!, Hooray for Birds!, and a picture book series about Little Fish.
Dean Hacohen began his career as a copywriter at an ad agency, where he met Sherry Scharschmidt, his first art director partner. He says that in advertising, experimenting with different configurations of elements can lead to interesting ideas–which is what sparked the notion of using book pages as blankets. He lives in White Plains, New York.
Naomi Kleinberg is a children’s book editor and the author of many children’s books. She lives in New York City in an apartment so filled with books that there’s barely enough room for her family. By odd coincidence, her favorite foods—apples, avocados, and arugula—all begin with the letter A.
Carly Madden has worked in publishing for over 14 years and is Senior Editor at QED. She lives in Essex with her family.

Juliana Perdomo is a Colombian illustrator in love with life, nature, people, and colors! Her work is happy and joyful, a little retro, with a Latin touch. She loves to create joyful, heartfelt stories, and illustrations based on her own memories and everyday inspiration.
