This board book has a cutout the shape of the face on each page, and the surrounding illustrations on each page change who gets to eat a spoonful of the food. While it doesn't really have a storyline beyond different people eating a spoonful of food, the cutout in the page is fun and it's a unique, creative book.

Benoit Marchon was born in 1950. He studied letters and art history before beginning his career in publishing for adults and children. He has created many books for children as a writer for Bayard in France.
Soledad Bravi is a French illustrator born in Paris in 1965. She worked in advertising as an art director before she began her illustration career. She has designed for adult magazines including Elle, in addition to her work for children.
