A holiday tradition for many families, now readers who can’t travel to New York will be able to experience this colorful celebratory story. A must-have for every aspiring ballerina’s library and a holiday tradition for every family’s bookshelf.
My four-year-old ballerina loves this iteration of The Nutcracker--especially the way it portrays the ballet itself. The illustrations are beautiful and have a fun personality to them. This book does, however, present a difficult decision: do we only pull it out at Christmas, to make it special, or do we go ahead and enjoy it all year long?
